Office En Us Officemui Msi
Hi there, your computer is having difficulties in installing the enlish language pack for MS Office, perhaps due to the fact that the Windows Installer Software is not up to date or simply that part of the CD the file is on is not readable due to a scratch or other damage. It now is asking for another directory such as a CD to copy the file from. To fix this, either: -check the CD for scratches, carefully clean it.

Jun 12, 2016 Trying to install Office 2013 on Windows 7, but unfortunately getting an error on install that says 'Setup cannot find Office-en-us OfficeMUI.msi. Office Pro 2007 (acedemic), windows vista (SP1) During installation I get several errors that: setup cannot find office.en-us officemui.msi setup cannot find excel.en.
-try installing from another CD/DVD-drive that perhaps has better read error correction capabilities, -if installing Office from an online source and meeting this error, download the newest Microsoft Installer Version here: and retry installing the Office Package Good luck! Posted on Sep 06, 2009. There is nothing wrong with your disk and nothing wrong with your installer. I have different copies of Office 2007 and they all do this whether I install on XP or I install on Vista, etc. Here is how to get around your issue: Create a folder on your desktop called 'Office.en-us'. Find the same folder on the CD and copy 'OfficeMUISet' to the folder on your desktop.
Re-insert the CD so that the setup starts again. When it tells you it cannot find the file and wants you to select a folder, click on DESKTOP. It takes a minute to get started but it will install just fine. There is nothing wrong with your disk and nothing wrong with your installer.

Although I had to copy four files from the disk to the desktop folder: OfficeMUI.msi, OfficeMUI.xml, OfficeMUISet.msi, OfficeMUISet.xml. The problem came up when I was trying to reinstall Visio Standard 2010 Academic Version.

For Office 2013 First unhide the hidden files in explorer then open c:/MSOCache when you open this folder it will ask for permission press ok to view. The error is because the permission is set to no in this folder, when you launch setup the first it creates this backup msocache for future installation that u dont do at first time, once you will open this folder then launch setup it will work.I have done this Thanks Tariq For Office 2013 First unhide the hidden files in explorer then open c:/MSOCache when you open this folder it will ask for permission press ok to view.

This might be a little long winded but i will try to give as much information as possilbe. I started with Office 2003 and then tried the 2007 Student trial version. When it expired I could not get it to uninstall so I dealt with the annoying problem until my university got the Office Pro Plus 2007 Win 32 version for us students and installed it thinking it would fix the problem. So I uninstalled 2007 and 2003, then used a registry cleaner to get rid of all of the old office entries that were dead and left over from the Student Version.
